  1. Thank you for purchasing one of our 'Portals' I trust you will get many hours of enjoyment by being transported into nature!

  2. Place it in a bright room. but never in direct sunlight. If the room is very dark you can have it under a cool LED lamp, but not a warm lamp that may heat it up, don't leave the light on for too long or the plants will grow too fast and need more trimming.

  3. It is pretty much maintenance free. Most mornings the inside of the glass will be misted up which should evaporate during the day. Most people like the condensation and don't do anything about it. If you want to remove the moisture you can wipe the inside of the glass with a paper towel. Or we can supply you with a small fan heater that demists the glass from the outside, only leave it on for long enough to de-mist.

  4. Add only rain water, to the level we've indicated when necessary.

  5. Not absolutely necessary, but you can spray the plants if they look dry, with rain water.

  6. Never add any items whatsoever without clearing it with us first, some things have bacteria or the like that can kill the plants

  7. Plants can be trimmed when required and dead leaves removed, some dead matter is good to leave for the Springtails to graze on.

  8. If it has a pump switch it off at night please, it needs a rest like we do!
